Eden Prairie Veteran's Memorial
Eden Prairie, MN
In 2008, Blackstone Contractors was contracted by the City of Eden Prairie, to construct a veteran’s memorial within Purgatory Creek Park, commemorating US Military service members’ service-to-country and world-peace. The project included construction of a two-tier plaza, granite-veneered concrete seatwalls, bronze plaques, granite engravings, granite and concrete pavers, two bronze statues by Brodin Studios and park amenities. Landscaping was completed by others.
The project received numerous press articles in 2008 in the Eden Prairie News and Star Tribune newspapers celebrating the project, the Eden Prairie Veterans Committee and the various Contractors, Artists and Suppliers who made the built project a success.
