Miller Park Play Improvements

Miller Park, within the City of Eden Prairie, is located south of CTH 5 on Eden Prairie Road. In 2010, the City of Eden Prairie contracted Blackstone Contractors to perform park improvements including rehabilitation of the existing play structure, site grading and utility improvements and installation of a new splashpad, playground safety surfacing, concrete walks, ornamental fencing, landscaping, an infiltration basin and underground cistern collection system. Water from the splash pad is collected and stored within the cistern, intended for reuse as supplemental water for landscape plantings. Overflow from the cistern feeds into the adjacent raingarden where it infiltrates into the underlying soils.
